What the price covers
How the price works
Why does the efterskole price vary?
As a fagskole we receive the state subsidy directly, so we can set a fixed, lower price. The efterskole price is higher as standard, but parents then receive the state subsidy, which depends on household income two years prior. With an average household income the two end up at roughly the same level.
Is there an enrolment fee?
Yes – DKK 3,000 on top of the school-year price. It is paid to secure a place for the school year.
Are the prices final?
The price of an efterskole stay in the coming school year depends on the subsidy set in the final national budget. We can only publish exact student prices once parliament has passed the budget, so the efterskole prices here are based on the current budget.
